2. What personal data do we process?
Depending on your contact with us, we process:
- title, initials, surname and address details;
- email address, phone number, country calling code and country;
- arrival and departure dates, number of guests and booking details;
- type, number and dimensions of camping units;
- number of dogs and any electricity choice for a small touring tent;
- your agreement to the Adults Only policy, privacy statement and conditions;
- how you found us and information you enter in the comments field;
- payment and invoice details when a reservation is made;
- limited technical data, such as IP address and form metadata, for security and spam checks.
Please do not include sensitive personal data in the comments field.
3. Why do we process this data?
If data is needed to handle your request or reservation and you do not provide it, we may be unable to assess the request or fulfil the reservation.
4. Booking form and email processing
The booking form is processed on our own web hosting. The details entered are forwarded to our email server over a secure connection and emailed to us. The guest automatically receives an acknowledgement.
For security and spam prevention, we may temporarily process limited technical data such as the IP address and submission time. Our email server password is not included in public website files.
When additional spam protection is active, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical data for this purpose, including your IP address and browser and connection characteristics. We do not send the completed reservation details with this check. 5. Who do we share personal data with?
We share personal data only when necessary for our services or required by law. This may include providers of email, website hosting, administration, payments and IT management. These parties may process data only for the agreed services and must apply appropriate security measures.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
6. How long do we retain data?
We then delete or anonymise the data unless a legal obligation or ongoing dispute requires longer retention.
7. Cookies and external components
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Functional technologies strictly necessary for a properly functioning and secure website may be used without consent. If analytics, maps, booking or other external services requiring consent are added later, we will ask for that consent beforehand and update this statement.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Only people who need personal data for their work have access. If you suspect misuse or a data breach, contact us immediately.
9. Your privacy rights
You may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your personal data. You may also object to processing based on a legitimate interest and withdraw previously given consent. Send your request to info@campinghetvissertje.nl. We normally respond within one month and may ask for information to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
10. Minors, decision-making and changes
Camping Het Loze Vissertje is an adults-only campsite. The booking form is not intended for people under 18. We do not make decisions with significant consequences solely on the basis of automated processing.
